I manage and oversee daily operations of the Arbor West Region which is under the umbrella of Northstar Care Community – the largest nonprofit in Michigan. By allocating resources, overcoming challenges, and designing new processes, policies, and procedures, I’ve been able to advance continuous improvement to workflows and patient flow through. I’ve also been heavily involved in recruiting and onboarding new staff. I meet weekly with an interdisciplinary team to discuss patient care and make decisions on patient eligibility based on a 6-month disease trajectory to make recommendations for further care or discharge, with the goal of improving patient comfort and optimizing patient and family outcomes.When COVID-19 hit, I ensured safety and quality standards, including working with staff through thevaccination process and liaising with supply chain leadership to guarantee the availability of necessary items (e.g., PPE).

After working for a couple of years as an RN Case Manager, I was promoted to partner and collaborate with fellow executives. We evaluated, analyzed, and brainstormed ideas to improve operations, financials, and quality assurance procedures.
