I am employed by Expeditors International of Washington as the LAX Air Export Gateway Supervisor. Previously I was a management trainee where I learned all about the products Expeditors has to offer as well as being mentored by the LAX Expeditors Management Team. Prior to that I was an agent in the air export gateway department, responsible for all freight that is destined for Middle East, Europe, and South Pacific in the LAX gateway. I started my logistics career as an air export warehouse agent specializing in building Unit Load Devices for domestic air freight, and receiving freight destined for destinations across the globe. I am also IATA Dangerous Goods Certified to handle and ship all flammable, corrosive, and lithium shipments. In addition to being IATA DG certified, I am certified to screen freight using X-Ray machine to screen for IEDs and other explosives. I currently spend my off time from my Logistics career working toward teaching law abiding individuals how to safely and responsibly handle firearms. I am currently California Department of Justice certified as well as National Firearms Association certified to teach firearms instruction.
