Responsible for project managing and art directing five innovative global campaigns a year, including the toy brands Real Littles, Kindi Kids, Lil Secrets, Happy Places, Foam Alive, and Goo Goo Galaxy. Collaborated with marketing, product, packaging, entertainment, social media, trade show, and licensing teams for seamless brand representation. Negotiated cost efficiencies and sustainable opportunities with leadership. Led the team’s design vision and execution. Worked with internal and external production teams for international deliverables. Led team of art directors and graphic designers to deliver on OTIF, trend-based ideas, and unboxing experiences.

El Segundo, California

Managed teams of project managers, art directors, graphic designers, engineers, and copywriters on two of the most iconic toy brands in the world. Responsibilities included presenting Barbie and Hot Wheels branding and packaging concepts to executives, providing clear direction and creative vision to team members, and overseeing $500 million in the Barbie portfolio for packaging design. Personally created and/or directed GDUSA award-winning designs for Barbie and Hot Wheels and assisted with augmented reality support and app development. Additionally, I spent three months working from the Hong Kong/Shenzhen offices to bridge cultures and streamline development.

Worked on the system design, packaging extension, and style guides for Safeway brands and Albertson’s full OTC line. Also worked on system extension and production for Leapfrog, Petco, and other properties. Projects included creating corporate presentations for potential clients, marketing brochures, leave behinds, and other collateral items.
