Ever wonder how your groceries get onto grocery shelves? There is software that manages how companies keep their products "fresh" for you! I helped develop that software.

I engineered an embedded programmable logic controller (PLC) using a TI Digital Signal Processor (DSP) to measure water cut for metering (taxation/production) purposes. It was basically a small Harvard architecture computer with modular peripheral boards that communicated to the motherboard over I2C.I used IDEC HMIs to interact with the PLC over MODBUS RTU.

I worked in the IT department doing desktop imaging, hardware troubleshooting, and a little clerical work.Some of my major responsibilities included building, diagnosing and troubleshooting desktop/laptop computers and printers.
