Partnered with key decision makers to identify requirements, technical designs, and end-to-end project plan. Site achieved top-level recognition, ranking in comScores Top 10 Health sites. • Mobile Website Launch: Managed launch of iVillage mobile site, m.ivillage.com, realizing 10x increase in traffic and securing new revenue stream.• Vertical Development: Excelled as lead on effort to develop new Food vertical, ivillage.com/food, to include utilizing new Drupal open platform versus Vignette 6, utilizing new CMS / user-generated content, integrating third-party content, and introducing interactive tools. Lead an agressive 6 month relaunch of the iVillage Health vertical, ivillage.com/health, using Agile methodologies.• Successfully managed infrastructure-related projects, to include network redesigns, database migration from 9i to 10g, and data center relocation / consolidation from FL to NY to achieve $100K in savings.

Spearheaded new technology development for startup Web site providing health-related information to patients and physicians, to include developing site applications and content management systems. Oversaw and mentored development team handling new development and application maintenance and optimization; provided training as well as annual feedback via performance reviews. Administered high-volume bulk email marketing system deploying 1M messages monthly. Reported directly to CEO; negotiated with vendors; and partnered with business development teams to drive growth. Developed web applications for the MIS Disaster Recovery team. Developed real time web apps to support Global MIS Disaster Recovery efforts. This online tracking and reporting system was used during Disaster Recovery efforts to allow System Engineers, Application owners/users, and Business Management to monitor the progress of restoring enterprise applications during a disaster situation.Particiapted in extensive off-site disaster recovery drill tests. Was part of the Y2K support and prepartion team. Gained valuable experience when we initiated DR mode when Hurricane Floyd threatened the South Florida region.
