Quite possibly the best job ever...minus the pay! Took people surfing and made sure they actually stood up while not killing themselves. Ocean safety, equipment usage, swimming skills and of course surfing were the focus.

Had the best idea that was 10 years ahead of it's time. With my best friend, we started an after school youth center. The center itself lasted a whopping 4 months, then we ran out of money. Never to fear, we took our show on the road(students houses) and kept the business going for another 4 years. We were Masters of our domain doing the following and then some:-Planning curriculum-Accounting-Marketing-Recruiting-HiringBasically I did everything to start and maintain the business from A-Z.

A brand new school opened and searched me out to be the head of the English language department. I took on this responsibility as well as started an environmental group that had some success and started a youth sports league that continues to this day.

I lived in a remote village and taught at the local high school. Supplies were limited so coming up with creative lessons where students were able to retain the knowledge was a fun challenge. Miss those days
