Responsible for executing the studio design theme for the console subsystem into mass production.Responsible for function, fit, finish, ergonomics, manufacturing feasibility, testing and customer satisfaction.Functional console features that I've been responsible for include: dual sliding leather wrapped armrests, armrest hinges and spring hinges, armrest latches - both paddle and push button, cup holder flip door, sliding tambour doors for both cup holders and power point access, rear seat registers, and ambient lighting.Championed material cost reductions, opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, and opportunities to improve quality on an ongoing basis.Served on two launch teams, the 2009 Lincoln MKS in Chicago, IL for six months, and the 2010 Ford Mustang in Flat Rock, MI for six months. Responsible for on the spot problem solving and implementing solutions to keep pre-production deadlines and milestones on track.

Created a comprehensive 3rd member teardown database using Excel along with Visual Basic macros. The database automatically created statistical comparisons and graphs for NVH analysis, as well as automatically created individual reports for each teardown; which effectively halved technicians paperwork time. I began doing the same for the NVH technicians' test ride evaluations but was cut short by the summer-only nature of the position.

Shared the same responsibilities as a full-time manufacturing engineer at an 80 press injection-molding plant. Updated old service tool control plans, planned and rearranged work cells, helped lead constant improvement efforts, and assisted other engineers with their PPAP submissions.
