Reported directly to senior management concerning all marketing responsibilities for Utah's eighth largest credit union.In addition to keeping the majority of my marketing research responsibilities along with some additional research tasks, was also in charge of managing the entire marketing department. This included all internal and external communications and advertising, managed a $600k annual budget, created and executed the annual marketing plan, sat on the Asset Liability Management (ALM) Committee, and participated in strategic planning.

Served as the events chair where I oversaw the annual golf tournament and annual Vision Awards Dinner.- Increased the golf tournament participation from 40 golfers to 100 golfers in two years.- Obtained approximately 75% increase in new sponsors in two years.- Worked with designer to brand the Vision Dinner with logo.- Established sponsorship parameters for new business casual dinner format with a silent auction of which was previously just a casual lunch style event.- Increased attendance from 50 to over 125 and brought approximately $2,000 more through sponsorships.

Assisted the marketing manager with all credit union marketing needs including writing, designing, organizing, creative, seminars, presentations, etc. My primary role as the analyst was research. Using our MCIF system (Intergrator - Raddon Financial Group), I was the primary contact at the credit union to run reports, analyze trends, target mailings/campaigns, and all other research requests through this system. The information I gathered was used for board meetings, ALM meetings, strategic planning, and marketing campaigns among other needs.

A sister company to the Oquirrh Institute, I accepted this position as a recommendation from then EPA Director Michael O. Leavitt and his wife, Jacalyn Leavitt.My primary task was to work with the many items given to the Leavitts and the state of Utah during his tenure as Governor. I separated the items into categories and entered them into a database I helped design. I coordinated with the Leavitt's, Utah State Archives, the Governor's Mansion, Southern Utah University, and other organizations to display the items in appropriate locations.Secondary responsibilities were to assist Mrs. Leavitt and the foundation director with several initiatives of the former first lady of Utah, primarily development and branding of the Internet Keep Safe Coalition. The Internet Keep Safe Coalition is a broad partnership of governors and/or first spouses, attorneys general, public health and educational professionals, law enforcement, and industry leaders working together for the health and safety of youth online.

As a small administrative task force with the organization, the job description varied significantly, but provided a wonderful opportunity to network with some of the nations top political, educational and business leaders.The institute was founded by then Utah Governor Michael O. Leavitt and supported by many prominent associates of his from around the country. It was originally structured as a non-partisan think tank to promote specific efforts with four main centers; competency-measured education, environment, technology & policy, and homeland security.My role as administrative coordinator was multifaceted. Among other responsibilities, I was in charge of event planning (i.e. quarterly board meetings that included one in Omaha with Warren Buffett and an Olympic Reunion in Salt Lake City), office management, database design/input, liaison with the Utah Governor's office, and public relations.
