Brisbane

The Senior Business Development Manager was a senior sales role with leadership responsibility for the business development activities for the Queensland, NT & Northern NSW. This role demanded strong time management skills, drive for results, high levels of creativity and resilience, extensive business management capabilities and very effective strategic, tactical and operational management skills along with marketing and sales acumen. Overall sales leadership for all of CMC’s product range, including online trading platforms, these services available through our business partners, Andrew West Stockbrokers. Coaching and up skilling of the sales teams’ capabilities across varied intermediaries predominantly stockbrokers and financial planners.

Qld (Multiple Locations Nth Qld, Brisbane, Darling Downs, Nth Nsw)

Reporting to the State Managers my role was to manage a large geographic territory covering Brisbane South to Coomera and regional areas Toowoomba, North QLD, Northern NSW. Within my territory I was responsible for sales, credit approvals, product penetration and cross sales, accountable for profit delivery, meeting and indeed exceeding financial budgets. This role had some cross over responsibilities also with the new Group Alliances Channel dealing not only with brokers but also group alliance partners (financial planners, solicitors, accountants etc).Selling the full suite of products –residential and non conforming mortgages, commercial lending and reverse mortgages to all intermediary channels including major aggregator groups, financial planning dealer groups and other specialised resellers.
