Serving as Treasurer on the board of directors of the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association since June 2013, he also serves on the board of directors for the Colorado Cattlemen’s Foundation. Brett is a Notary and has held an insurance producer license in Colorado for Property/Casualty and Life/Health since 1996.Previously, he was an agricultural lender for First National Bank of Omaha. He has managed personnel and lending functions at First National Bank n/k/a Points West and Premier Farm Credit. Responsibilities included recruitment, hiring, mentoring, credit underwriting, supervision, portfolio management and portfolio growth. In addition to individual delegated lending authority at both organizations, he served as a member of their Loan Committee’s and was secretary of the Loan Audit and Loan Compliance Committee.
