I collaborate and strategize with energy developers, third-party financiers, EPCs, electrical contractors, ESCOs, EVSE installers, and climatetech and proptech startups, as well as their investors in private equity and venture capital.Career JourneyAfter university, I embarked on an adventurous path that led me to Timor-Leste serving the United Nations, foreign governments, telecoms, and global O&G companies in emerging and developing markets including Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, and broadly SE Asia. I negotiated high-stakes under acute and sustained pressure, fostered compromise, and created impactful consortiums. I advised governments on security sector reform, policy, and made a tangible impact by employing over 10,000 internally displaced persons (4,000 FTEs) and at-risk youth to support the UN peacekeeping mission (UNMIT).Career PivotWith 17 years of business leadership and entrepreneurial experience, including ten years in SE Asian emerging markets. My experience in complex adaptive systems enabled me to transition into the US energy sector, where a rapid transition is now occurring. My journey into the energy sector began with techno-economic modeling at the leading microgrid modelingcompany. I now spearhead strategic partnerships — renewable energy and decarbonization initiatives within Generac's C&I microgrid team.
