Reporting to and in partnership with the CEO, I planned, organized, and managed all our major fundraising events from conception to completion and everything in between, as well as all post-related activities such as wrap up meetings, post event marketing (social media, press releases, etc), and all financial and budgetary obligations and reporting requirements for a 501(c)(3). This involved volunteer recruitment, training, and management, venue prospecting and correspondence, vendor coordination and management, and committee development and organization. I served as the primary POC for all internal/external constituencies on all organizational matters, and acted as liaison to the Executive Board, senior leadership, and volunteers. This also involved coordinating executive outreach & external relations efforts and overseeing special projects and networking events. Additionally, I worked to secure financial support from individuals, foundations, and corporations by developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with major donors. I created and executed an annual strategy for developing and growing a large sustained base of annual individual donors, and was responsible for shaping the overall annual fundraising plan. I was very effective in my position, often successfully utilizing technology to streamline processes and make work flow drastically more efficient and organized. My first fiscal year/season resulted in 21% over budgeted revenue and 22% below budgeted expenses for all fundraising endeavors. My second year/season was 12% over budgeted revenue goals and 22% below budgeted expenses, and and my final year/season maintained this trend. -
