As a Project Leader in IFS Analysis and Performance, I lead a team of SAS programmers in developing and analyzing a wide array of metrics and data that were used to improve both our customer and flight attendant satisfaction ratings, provide senior leaders with actionable summaries of our findings, and improve the maintenance reliability of on-board systems that impacted flight crews and customers. I managed several projects, usually concurrently, including a complete reorganization of one of our flight attendant incentive programs, streamlining many of our monthly reports from several days of work to only a couple of hours, and fully automating the distribution of individualized customer satisfaction performance summaries to each of our almost 20,000 flight attendants. This position enabled me to further develop my management skills, and introduced me - through the people that worked for me and with me - to new and innovative ways of analyzing and reporting complex data.

In the Operations Strategy and Planning group, my primary role was developing trend analysis and reporting tools, enabling our group and senior leaders to track key areas of performance within the operation. These tools included daily KPI highlights to show where attention should be directed, an automated summary of significant operational events, and analyses that supported our monthly reporting.This position was my first experience with SAS, and I became highly proficient within a few months. Shortly before my departure from Strategy and Planning, I had created code that would skim websites to pull real-time competitive airline data in order to eliminate the waiting period before that data was available from the DOT.In 2011, I served as the interim manager before being recruited to In-Flight Services.

As a Specialist in Delta's Health Services group, I managed all of the healthcare analytics and reporting functions. I had an analyst reporting directly to me, who was responsible for our communication strategy. In this role, I studied a number of employee population comparisons, including the higher likelihood of foot and ankle injuries among female flight attendants required to wear high-heels, as opposed to other employee groups. I also analyzed prescription drug usage and alternatives for our tiered program, and comorbidity rates for various chronic conditions among our employee population.In 2008, I presented our consumer-driven health plan strategy at a conference in Washington, D.C. for the National Business Group on Health.
