Responsible for managing and directing the company’s accounting operations. Charged with developing and maintaining all electronic management systems/reports in order to assist in establishing goals, execute and track initiatives, make informed decisions and accurately monitor the company’s performance. The Controller manages the accounting team, performing detailed reviews of the monthly financial statements. Reporting to the CEO this role is part of the Senior Management Team.

This position assists the Corporate Controller in providing oversight and management of the accounting operations of TOTE and its subsidiaries. Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of accounting records, timely reporting of financial results, ensuring proper process controls are in place, recommending and ensuring adherence to accounting policies and management and supervision of the Accounting Shared Services functions (General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable).

Responsible for all financial reporting, accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, cost accounting and internal control for the plant and directly supervise supporting financial staff.

Leading a professional staff of 5 and their direct reports oversee the day to day operations of cost accounting, lease accounting, payroll and accounts payable. This role was responsible for developing product costing systems that assisted in making solid decisions in product volume and pricing programs.

Supervising a staff of 3 was responsible for the monthly closing of the financial statements, providing analysis and interpretation of financial results along with fianancial and strategic support to management.

Overseeing a staff of 7, led day to day operations of the accounting department, managing financial policies and controls. Responsible for the monthly accounting close process for all US & London business units, providing financial results to senior management.

Oversaw the monthly closing of division financial statements and provided day to day support for Plant Controllers. Analyzed accounting systems and operations to assess their integrity, reliability and effectiveness.
