Reporting to the Vice-President of Finance, accountable for managing the Risk Management, Compliance, and Fraud department as the Company subject matter expert to key internal partners and senior executives.Risk Management accountabilities include managing and developing the Company risk assessment policy and framework, performing risk analysis and due diligence, identifying trends and emerging issues, managing Company risks (reputational, financial, operational, and credit), develop new policies, and perform Company training to associates on new internal or regulatory requirements. Compliance accountabilities include managing financial and internal audit engagements (planning, monitoring, testing, and remediation of internal financial and operational controls), conducting Compliance audits and reviews (plan and develop methodology, manage testing, escalate findings, and present assessment results to senior executives), develop and deploy new and updated internal policies, and the key liaison between the Company and the external auditors.Fraud accountabilities include managing the Company fraud risk portfolio (Collector, Associate, Client, and Vendor), development of the Company risk framework, identify trends and emerging risks, and to implement preventive controls to mitigate financial loss or loss of confidential data.Other ad-hoc accountabilities include managing and supporting the Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance registrar, communication with respect to standard interpretations, procurement process and initiatives for the line of business, system implementation and operational process changes, creating and updating training materials, and assisting other lines of businesses with new strategic initiatives.
