I am an attorney at Langdon & Emison, with our primary office near Kansas City, Missouri. I try cases across the country and have additional office locations in St. Louis, Missouri and in Chicago, Illinois.My practice practice focuses almost exclusively on catestrophic injury and death cases, as well as class action and other complex tort cases. Brett's practice areas include automobile defects, railroad crossing accidents (train accidents), trucking accidents, dangerous or defective drugs, defective medical devices, and a variety of other cases.Before joining Langdon & Emison, I served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Missouri Law Review and served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable William Ray Price, Jr. of the Supreme Court of Missouri.

I am honored and humbled to join the outstanding trial lawyers who have led this organization as MATA president. MATA is the only organization in Jefferson City fighting to protect the 7th Amendment and fight for this fundamental constitutional protection on behalf of Missouri families.

At RHGM, I worked on a variety of high profile commercial and business litigation cases, including a case for KCP&L involving a power plant explosion that resulted in a verdict of more than $100 million.
