Successful solo hike 2189.5 miles over 6 consecutive months. I proved my ability to overcome obstacles while working on a long term goal. I showed the ability to focus on tasks that were difficult to achieve. I truly enjoyed the sense of community with the many people I encountered. The trail equipped me with a set of skills both physically and mentally while gaining a true sense of what is important and what is not.

In this position I was cross-trained for both front counter and kitchen work. Responsibilities included taking orders, directing and communicating with the public in a professional manner, multi-tasking, food prep and cooking, and cleanliness and safety. In addition to those, I learned teamwork and communication skills.

While employed by this establishment I was responsible for protecting the lives and safety of both the children and adults that came to enjoy the pool by minimizing dangers, educating facility users about safety, enforcing rules and regulations, providing assistance, and if necessary preform rescues. In addition my position required keeping the facilities and pool clean at all times, checking and maintaining PH balance, and pump maintenance.
