Specializing in HVAC controls for mission critical facilities.As an undergraduate at CSU Channel Islands studying Environmental Science and Resource Management I was presented the opportunity to work with the Facilities Operations Planning and Construction Department (OPC). Through this role I had been tasked with engaging students, faculty and the community to strategize and execute capital projects that reduce both energy consumption and energy waste. The experience gained during this time was the catalyst to my career in facility performance and optimization.After completing my time at CSU Channel Islands I moved forward to work with Electronic Control Systems (ECS) as a Service Technician. Practical experience gained from responsibilities including installation, programming, commissioning, customer interaction, and independent project management pushed me forward with the confidence and capability to pursue engineering.In my current role as Senior Engineer at Albireo Energy (Formerly ECS) I am privileged to be surrounded by a team with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the San Diego market for over 25 years. Primary duties include collaborating with the Engineering team, consulting MEP and Architectural firms to better integrate the role of Building Automation into construction projects, and meeting directly with clients to develop capital projects.Outside of the workplace you can find me on my bike, in the mountains, flying planes, and enjoying time with my family and friends.
