With more than 20 years dedicated to applying emerging technologies to solve some of business and societies biggest challenges, my current role as Chief Innovation Officer at Deloitte Consulting and General Manager of Converge by Deloitte is driven by a passion for innovation that drives impact that matters.  As Chief Innovation Officer, my team shapes the firm’s innovation strategy and investments to incubate, scale and launch new solutions and businesses as well as transform how Deloitte delivers value to our clients with technology, ecosystem partners and our teams. We are advocates for sustainable innovation and investing in solutions that not only yield financial returns but also contribute positively to society, our clients, teams and the environment. As General Manager of Converge, I am responsible for managing Deloitte’s $750M+ investment in creating new businesses and platforms that help shape and transform industries ethically and responsibly. These next generation platforms support the transformation of and convergence points between the consumer, financial services and health care sectors. My love of building new businesses started when I dropped out of an MBA program to join a bioinformatics start up to help make sense of the human genome to make personalized medicine a reality. That passion for business building continued as an intrapreneur, first at IBM and then Oracle, to launch and grow their life sciences and healthcare business units. These experiences laid the groundwork for my move to Deloitte, where I co-founded and led our ConvergeHEALTH business, whose platforms I am proud to say are live in 25 countries supporting millions of patients and leading biopharmaceutical and health care clients. This success led to the expansion of Converge and the launching of other platform, data, and asset enabled businesses at Deloitte. I have served on multiple external advisory boards, including Penn Medicine’s Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy, and was a founding Board Member of the Personalized Medicine Coalition. The roles I am most proud of are dad to 4 amazing kids who keep me on my toes with soccer, swimming, skateboarding, and skiing and husband to my amazing wife of 20+ years. I bleed blue and white (Go Penn State!) and am a die hard Tottenham Hotspur fan. In my spare time I enjoy running, boating and spending time in Lewes Beach, Delaware with family and friends.
