Participated in the analysis and design of a target architectural direction for the combined company’s long-term manufacturing and supply chain solution space. Assisted in the data design strategy and architecture to enable continued operation of Dow Corning manufacturing and supply chain analytics within The Dow Chemical Company.

Continued expat assignment in China to lead strategic change initiatives within Asia area, supporting a service excellence multi-generational program. Led a diverse team of IT analysts across Japan, Korea and China accountable for the availability of enterprise systems and solutions within the Asia area. Led the Asian implementation of an enterprise IT shared service delivery strategy, standardizing IT service management tools and processes. Maintained oversight and leadership of Asia supply chain automation roadmap, partnering with business leaders and IT staff to ensure alignment of IT investments with business strategies. Analyzed service delivery data to Identify and initiate continuous improvement activities, driving operational efficiency and cost reduction. Implemented and cultivated SPC control plan monitoring techniques to drive capability and stability with ITSM work processes.

Began expat assignment, developing IT organizational capabilities within Asia area, to accelerate business value from supply chain automation solutions. Provided technical oversight and leadership to champion supply chain automation investment across the Asia area. Partnered with manufacturing site leadership to understand their needs and establish site automation roadmaps for all Asia area manufacturing sites. Led a global team of manufacturing automation analysts, delivering enterprise manufacturing operations solutions. Responsible for development and execution of a 5 year manufacturing intelligence strategy. Provided technology stewardship for the enterprise wide SAP Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence (MII) computing platform. Lead analysis that resulted in the development and delivery of numerous global systems in areas such as: inventory optimization, strategic demand planning, batch traceability, energy management, product quality analysis, and ERP system transactional automation. Educated workgroup on agile development practices and championed the adoption of Scrum and Lean methodologies for all new manufacturing and supply chain solution development activities.
