My team facilitated connections between thousands of teacher candidates and NYC's 1,600+ district schools to make strong matches. Primary responsibilities: managing the team, setting strategy, coordinating and setting up structures to track vacancies and candidate pools, and liaising with other offices on high-profile staffing initiatives.

Supported district schools and community based organizations with filling all lead teacher openings within a compressed timeline to deliver on the promise of universal Pre-K in NYC for 70,000 students for the 2015-16 school year.

Offered full-time staff position based on job performance as research assistant to US Congressman Steve Israel (NY-2). Served as constituent liaison and representative for the congressman on the telephone, in meetings with constituents, and at public events. Diligently supported casework team, outreach coordinators, legislative staff, and communications directors on daily priorities in fast-paced and high-energy environment. • Advised constituents in seeking federal grant opportunities and assisted with related research.• Managed 16 summer interns in daily office operations and individual research projects.
