Directed Fulton County’s Workforce Division to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, maximize utilization of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant funds, and align strategic mission with the county’s economic development and customer service missions. Coordinated with Metro Atlanta workforce boards to align service delivery for both job seeker and employer customers accessing the region’s workforce system.Restructured a team of sixteen during the implementation of a new service delivery strategy to position county workforce efforts to increase community engagement and develop partnerships across the Atlanta region.

Served as the lead subject matter expert for programmatic operations of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), providing policy interpretation, best practices, and strategic planning for the state’s workforce system.Directed the Workforce Division’s (WFD) support of Georgia Department of Economic Development projects to attract, retain, or expand industries in the state by developing workforce solutions tailored to employer needs.Led team of four Program Specialists in the day-to-day programmatic operations for WIOA administration; supervising and supporting their responsibilities in project management, technical assistance to nineteen LWDAs, operations of the State Workforce Development Board, and programmatic on-site monitoring.Coordinated cross-team efforts within WFD, and cross-agency working groups to develop consensus solutions, processes, guidance, and final products relating to the administration of WIOA funds in Georgia.

Led team of Rapid Response Coordinators in engaging employers, employees, and communities in preventing or mitigating the impact of major layoff events in Georgia.Led a partnership with the Georgia Department of Labor and two LWDAs in the successful application for $1.9 million in National Emergency Grant funds for a Sector Partnership to provide work-based training for targeted industries.Partnered with the Centers of Innovation for Aerospace in application for $2.15 million from the Department of Defense to develop and maintain the GUARD initiative.

Analyzed available labor data and resources and authored policy guidance to support data-driven decisions on strategic planning and policy.
