Responsible for management of data engineering team and end-to-end maintenance and support of ~60data users utilizing a modern data stack (Redshift + dbt+python) and ML model implementation. Led thedevelopment and maintenance of ETL pipelines and ML infrastructure, driving company-widedashboards, achieving an 8x reduction in fraud, and introducing multiple significant time-savingprocesses.Selected contributions:▪ Pioneered Data Engineering Architecture: Designed and maintained dimension, fact, and slowlychanging dimension (SCD) tables using dbt (SQL), following the star schema model. Managed datafrom finance (MRR, ARR), app-specific data, and other SaaS tools, including custom Extract/Loadpipelines via Python, REST APIs, and AWS tooling.▪ Machine Learning Infrastructure: Developed ML infrastructure using AWS Sagemaker, S3, andLambda. Implemented six ML models (Random Forests and Regressions) to predict fraud and churn,leading to an 8x reduction in fraud.▪ Implemented Dagster Orchestration: Integrated Dagster as the orchestration tool, automating alldata syncs, ML models, and dbt models under a unified scheduling system, enhancing data pipelinereliability, performance, and monitoring.▪ Introduced Reverse ETL Process: Enabled Operations and CSMs to access warehouse data in theirpreferred tools, significantly saving time across the team.▪ Managed SaaS Platforms: Maintained and negotiated with SaaS platforms like Fivetran and Census toensure efficient data ingestion and reverse ETL processes.
