I am an award winning journalist with experience telling stories that impact our communities from coast to coast. After graduating from the University of Memphis, I began my career as a Multimedia Journalist in sunny California. In this market, I began learning the ropes on what it takes to be successful in the industry. Two years later, I moved to the Ozarks in southwest Missouri and began telling stories about the environment, crime trends and the opioid crisis. With hard work and determination, I finally landed in Music City - Nashville, TN - and fell in love with the community and reporting on natural disasters like the middle Tennessee tornadoes and Gatlinburg wildfires. However, the opioid crisis, which is plaguing our nation, began to hit close to home. I lost friends and family to the disease and that is when I knew I wanted to make a difference. As one door began to close, Addiction Campuses opened the door to an opportunity that I could not turn down. As a Public Relations Manager with a nationwide company, I can spread the word of treatment, recovery and most importantly hope.
