Bringing together different stakeholders and aligning them to a shared vision is my way of developing solutions to challenges. Brett moves easily between innovation and execution, seeing the big picture AND being detail-oriented enough to chart the most direct path to resolving challenges.Over the last several years the Skills Gap challenge has come to the forefront of America's workforce challenge. Even though the number of persons out of the workforce is very high, there is a great need for skilled individuals. Since his first workforce development program, Lift & Move USA, Brett has been dedicated to helping industry employers find qualified workers for their entry level skilled positions. Under his guidance in its first 3 years, Lift & Move championed 9 nationwide Career Skills Events for the crane, rigging & specialized carrier industry. They were attended by over 5,000 students, parents, veterans & counselors and reached an additional 100,000 individuals through social media. Bridging America's Gap expands on the lessons learned and successes to build similar yet customized programs for other industries. Bretts' resume is diverse, with experience in Business, Non-Profits and Public Service. Along the way he has honed his Leadership, Strategic Planning, Advocacy and Execution Skills. He identifies whatever it takes to make something work better or minimize the damage and excels when put in the role of Change Agent, and specialize in situations with multiple stakeholders – some call it herding cats, others refer to it as getting everyone to speak the same language.Core Competencies: Strategic Planning, Leadership of Diverse Teams, Project Planning, Management & Execution, Business Startups,Meeting Planning, Revenue Generation, Expense Reduction.
