As international project engineer you provide engineering solutions for large-scale end to end localization projects. In my current role I function as lead software engineer for my team - designing, creating and supporting applications, tools and software solutions.2 years of building software using C#, .NET, MVVM, WPF, XAML, Universal Apps, WinForms, Blend, Python, F# & Powershell (for deployment, automation & scripting) mostly through test driven development has helped me create quality enterprise software. I work in an Agile sprint cycle driven by Visual Studio Online and GitHub. My software not only supports my production team but several other large-scale production teams across my group reflecting a continued collaboration and development across disciplines.With my current team I have created and maintained legacy enterprise-level software as well as designing and creating specialized tools, succeeding in reducing translations costs, increasing localization quality and improved production efficiency. In this role you must cater to the highly compressed schedule of game production, often working around and coordinating between several countries, languages, and time-zones.I have closely coordinated with game studios and translation suppliers to ship everything from large AAA titles to small casual games in over 100 languages across the globe. I am challenged to tackle issues at any point in the localization pipeline and strong project planning as well as engineering expertise has made me a valuable member of my team. Finding a smart solution when a project is blocked - be it writing software/tools to even creative solutions truly makes me a valuable asset to my team.
