I am a passionate and hard working individual. I strive to be constantly at the top of my game, in all situations. My objective is to excel in all aspects of work and life, with the hope that one day I can inspire others.Over the years of working at the UK’s leading manufacturer of structural building components, my knowledge has excelled to which has helped me get to the position I am in now. In my day to day role, I typically advise design teams, architects and engineers to specify the correct products in the most efficient ways possible. Mainly the use of masonry support, wall ties, brick slip cladding panels and soffits, lintels & cavity trays. I specialise in discussing the correct way to design the products into the facade to ensure there is little to no congestion. Architects, structural engineers and design teams for large main contractors seek help with such a bespoke range of products, which is where my knowledge and expertise come into play. There have been numerous mixed use, high rise residential, student accommodation & hotel projects I have been involved with dotted around the UK. I also ran the design team within the company to ensure customers were getting a quick and easy solution compiled into a quotation. Customer service and satisfaction was a key element to that delivery side of the business. I previously ran a small business with my father doing graphic design and print. This was a completely different industry that my father has spent over 40 years in. After a number of years I thought it would be wise to take a side step and live a little! I booked a one way ticket to Southeast Asia where I began my journey in Bangkok, Thailand. I travelled my way north, backpacking or what was really, hostel hopping. I then started to go further east into Laos and then a month later, went over to Vietnam where I travelled from Hai long bay all the way down south of Vietnam to Ho chi Min city. The experience is one that I will never forget.
