My primary objective was to calculate an entitlement for each client and affiliate that held either cash, or cash and open positions at the point of administration. This was demonstrated as a Client Money claim and / or an unsecured Claim. At the point of administration, LBIE’s clients had over 20,000 open positions; these positions were closed out by various exchanges and brokers. The closeout information received from those exchanges and brokers enabled us to construct an entitlement for each client and LBIE affiliate. Other duties were to prepare the monthly balance sheet for the Exchange Traded Derivatives population; this included entitlements as well as monies due to LBIE from brokers and Clearing Houses. Provided commentary on substantial month-on-month movements; this information fed into the six monthly Creditors’ Report.Successfully migrated all Exchange Traded Derivatives product information from a stand-alone database to the central reporting tool which enabled the Administration to view all Exchange Traded Derivative entitlements.

Managed a team looking after four business streams which formed part of the Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities and Financing & Securities Management area.The following tasks were performed for the above business units:Daily PnL reconciliations between the PnL reporting tool and the general ledger. Products within the business area consist of bonds, FRAs, swaps, repos, metal warrants, futures and options.Daily clearance of suspense items, integrity reports and nostros to ensure complete data population within the general ledger.Produced month end management packs for the Business Head and Business Manager. Provided London and Frankfurt with a cross-allocation charge relating to the Listed Products Group. Provided monthly PnL flash vs. actual submissions and commentaries.Complied with all balance sheet substantiation, PnL and audit requirements in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley.Liaised with Business Managers to assist with implementing new products and business models.

Desk Support - Played an active role in the daily duties of a high volume-trading desk (up to 100,000 lots per day) in a very busy and challenging environment. The desk executed and cleared on all financial and commodity markets for both futures and options.Brokerage Supervisor - Responsible for a team of four permanent and several temporary staff. This consisted of many duties, with the majority of the work being the invoicing of brokerage fees to our clients for all Exchange Traded Derivative exchanges across the world.
