I report to the Development Director and am responsible for the densification of The Westfield Stratford City Estate. This includes major retail, office and hotel developments. My focus and achievements are as follows:• 325 room, £100m Hotel Development Opportunity. This will be the fourth hotel within the Westfield Stratford City Estate and the first to be owned and operated by URW. As project lead, I have secured commercial terms with a global hotelier and achieved land assembly, concept design and agreed feasibility. • Stratford City Phase 2 Retail Expansion. This is a £200m extension to the existing retail centre opened in 2011. As Development lead I achieved RIBA Stage 2 Design, detailed planning consent and completion of land assembly. • Office Development. This will be the third major office development within the Westfield Stratford City Estate My responsibilities are currently focussed on securing a level of pre-letting and ensuring existing retailer agreements for intrusive works required to enable the office complex above.• Stakeholder Management. This covers road and access arrangements and finalising landing rights for proposed bridge and road connections between ours and neighbouring development projects. • Board Reporting. I report to the Main URW Board on a quarterly basis providing detailed progress updates on the above schemes.

Development Executive - Asset Management Projects At Westfield London And Stratford City

I was given responsibility for all aspects of development across Asset Management Projects at both our London Centres. This includes responsibility for land assembly, existing tenant approvals, scheme design and construction, securing planning approval, securing JV approvals and feasibility cost management for the following projects: • Responsible for the successful rollout of the £30m Centre Upgrade Programme at Westfield London, including upgrades to amenities, wayfinding, guest services, car parking, lobbies and welcome halls. This programme is designed to ensure seamless integration between the Phase 2 extension (opened in March 2018) and the existing Centre.• Responsible for the re-purposing of the £16m Westfield London Village Masterplan. The Village is Westfield London’s Luxury Quarter with over 35 boutiques including Louis Vuitton and Gucci. The Masterplan includes the creation of a luxury spa area, the conversion of the retail side mall into a restaurant quarter, upgrading amenities and improvements to The Village Entrance and mall areas. This will be delivered in three phases, the first of which I delivered in 2017.• Responsible for the rollout of the three phased £14m Westfield Stratford City Central Arcade Masterplan. Phase 1 is the creation of a major event space “The Arena”, made possible through the in-filling of existing voids. This was successfully completed with events activated in December 2017.• Responsible for the £10m refurbishment and enlargement of The Food Court at Westfield London. This was delivered during 2019.• Responsibility for asset initiatives requiring planning approval. These initiatives, mainly at Westfield Stratford City include; Conversion of Car Park areas into retail use, the implementation of crowd control gates separating Westfield from the Olympic Park and Stadium (West Ham), securing improvements to the external mall areas, including fascia improvements, outdoor seating / furniture and additional kiosk sites.
