I was a BDR intern during the summer of 2022 for Unanet, a company out of Dulles, Virginia. I learned a lot about the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry and how CRM and ERP software can take companies to the next level. At Unanet, I prospected new customers and made the initial outreach to accounts all across the US and Canada.During my time in New Orleans, I helped co-found a student start-up by the name of SexyCakes, that delivers hot food, milkshakes, and common dorm room essentials to hungry students from the hours of 9 PM to midnight. There is a lack of late-night options for Tulane students (and the local New Orleans area), and at SexyCakes, our goal was to eliminate that problem. With no delivery fees, and ticket times up to 3x faster than the Uber Eats equivalent, SexyCakes was able to generate over $800,000 in revenue since its inception in 2019.
