• Regular and scheduled design review meetings with selected influential surgeons to evaluate clinical efficacy and design of instrumentation/implantable product throughout all stages of the project.
• Create and foresee all the necessary testing, validations & protocols to ensure all products met the standards of the relevant regulatory bodies. Some of these include all sterilisation/bio-burden/cleaning & residual.
• Compilation of technical files/design history file and Essential Requirement/Principles for submission to the TGA for registry into the ARTG.
• Design and manage instrument modifications to surgeon’s instruments.
• Design and manufacture of non/fully functional prototypes for clinical use and/or surgeon evaluation in surgery and cadaver trial.
