Strategic leadership for the Facilities and Asset Services (F&AS) division, formed in July 2021 through the integration of the Spotless Group (ASX: SPO) with Downer's Asset Services division to create Australia’s largest integrated asset services provider. With c. 20,000 employees, F&AS provides end-to-end facilities management, asset lifecycle and specialist services to the Future Energy, Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Mining & Metals, Industrial, Health, Education and Government sectors across Australia.

Development and leadership of the business in APAC East, including operations, project management, consulting and analytics, to support and drive the design and implementation of Rio Tinto's Contractor Engagement System (CES).

PACE Consulting is Rio Tinto’s internal management consulting and advanced analytics group. We support our clients across the group to achieve their full potential by accelerating the delivery of value through strategy execution, transformation and advanced analytics solutions. My role is to provide local leadership and support for the Brisbane Hub consulting team while supporting our clients across a global footprint.

Led contractor management for Coal's 3000+ contractor footprint ($600m annual spend), delivery of commercial stream transformation program (RTCA’s largest transformation program delivering $1Bn+), warehousing optimisation (6 warehouses), light vehicle strategy, vendor payments and ERM.

Led the Planning team to provide strategic support to senior management and deliver transformation projects, forecasting activities (5-year business plan, annual plan, target setting, etc.), risk management & business analysis for Rio Tinto Energy.Led the Rio Tinto Coal Capital team on capital budgeting and prioritisation ($1Bn+ pipeline), commercial and financial evaluation of proposals, managing and coordinating the Investment Committee, and capital governance.

I was brought into a new team set up by the CFO of Rio Tinto Energy to drive a step-change in Business Planning and to lift Management Reporting and Commercial Analysis capability to support an aggressive growth pathway (subsequently business transformation).Specific responsibilities include coordination and delivery of core planning activities; leading improvement projects; design, development and implementation of financial forecast models; and business transformation strategic support.

Led teams on acquisition and vendor due diligence on a wide variety of M&A transactions, domestic and international, for corporates, private equity firms, infrastructure funds and the public sector.Sale and purchase agreement (SPA) advice including development of adjustment mechanisms and SPA clause reviews.Significant experience also gained in valuations, modelling, corporate advisory, financial forensics and corporate reorganisation.

Developed the fund manager support function and team and led projects to support the company with its specialist fund manager growth strategy.
