I started Bleacher Nation in 2008, and began working on it full-time in July 2011. We now have six full-time employees, one additional part-time writer, and primarily cover the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Blackhawks.I am the lead Cubs writer, and in the past also served as as the company CEO, site editor, web developer, ad ops specialist, and social media lead.

As a corporate litigator, my primary function was to research and draft legal briefs. I also managed cases from inception to trial, maintained client relationships, and mentored junior associates.- Research and analyze legal issues, often involving regulatory or statutory compliance, and/or corporate organizational issues- Participate in all stages of litigation involving complex commercial issues, and assist in case management frominception to trial- Manage sensitive and confidential information- Draft successful dispositive motion briefs and discovery motions- Communicate effectively with clients, other attorneys, paralegals and staff- Mentor and help train new associates and summer interns- Developed successful and unique analytical method for evaluating damages in multimillion dollar breach of contract litigation- Served as part of trial team that won a $10.9 million verdict for an African-American neighborhood that had been denied access to public water for more than 50 years- Represented indigent tenants during eviction process and helped them maintain residence or transition to new residence where necessary- Most importantly: served as office kickball team captain
