As one of the first 10 employees at this start-up, I received an incredibly diverse exposure to many facets of the business world.-The CEO gave me the opportunity to shadow investor meetings, explained stock structure and corporate filings to me, all while showing me the importance of team-building.-The CMO and I worked together on a daily basis, on anything from quarter-million dollar advertising campaigns, to social media messaging.-The CTO and I constantly worked at building a better app by testing out new features and exploring best practices.

As a freshman, I won a campus wide business plan competition and was granted $22,000 to start a bike rental service on campus.I helped the service grow from a dorm room idea to a thriving business by leveraging our available human talent. I worked with graphic designers, web builders and outdoor enthusiasts on-campus and in Nashville, in order to create a valuable product.My last project with re{cycle} was to oversee the building of our new store in the heart of campus. I've now passed the venture on to the next generation of Vanderbilt entrepreneurs.
