I was responsible for managing a desk that involved the recruitment and placement of Medical Practitioners primarily within Western Australia.This involved temporary, locum and contract placements of General Practitioners and non - specialist Doctors in addition to permanent placements of International Medical Graduates (IMG's). For IMG placements my key duties involved assisting Doctors with the organisation of Medical Board registration, Specialist College Assessment, Sponsorship, Employment, in addition to organising an induction / orientation into Australian Healthcare system.I was also responsible for business development, i.e. identifying new business opportunity in the placement of locum and permanent Doctors.
