I also sold the first of 8 total PC Based control systems to John Deere Engine plant (represented $40,000 per plant potential). Deere had not embraced the “PC based” control concept as of yet. IllinoisI was responsible for negotiating a National Joint Buying Agreement (JBA) with Ralston in St. Louis.  This represented additional annual sales of $750,000 per year for the company.  The territory grew from $700,000 to over $4.5 million in annual sales during my time at Total Control.  I sold the first PC based Control system\project into Maytag in Newton to control their testing of the new NEPTUNE washer and dryer.  They picked my solution over a traditional PLC 5 system. Total for that sale alone was $75,000.  I also sold John Deere Engine Works in Waterloo the same type of system.  I was the only outside Sales Engineer at Total Control to achieve goal and bonus successively for the years 97,98 ,99 and on target for 2000 when GE purchased them.  Other KEY accounts were:  Bandag, Hon Industries, Quaker Oats, Kartridg Pak, Lucent, John Deere, Genesis, to name a few
