I’ve always wanted to know more and excel at whatever I put my mind to. New concept? I want to become an expert on it. New process? How can I use it and possibly make it better. Whether it’s a new way to toast bread or join data between SQL tables in Tableau, I need to know as much as possible. A great example is I wanted to catalogue and track new coffee's I found in Seattle so I built and produced an app for it. Which you can download on the App Store. My thirst for knowledge and experience has led me from the backcountry of New Mexico to hospitals in Virginia as a nursing student to a data analyst in Denver, CO and many stops in-between to create a rich bank of knowledge that I can call on everyday. I try to never sit still and wait for the next best thing but seek it out myself. Whenever I’m confronted with something I’ve never encountered before I’m able to adapt quickly and pick up new information or a new skill as I go. Anything I can do to expand my diversity of interests I have while growing my skill set and supporting the overall goals of the organizations I work for is what drives my everyday.
