As part of the requirement for graduation at UM-SEAS, I am working on a three-student team to assess the state of environmental justice in Michigan. This research includes the creation of multi-layer maps using quantitative datasets, such as environmental health, air and water quality, and socioeconomic indicators, as well as qualitative interviewing of.

I supported the integration of diversity, equity, and inclusion into core course experiences of the incoming SEAS graduate student cohort. As part of this work, I focused on traditional ecological knowledge/indigenous local knowledge and diversity in authorship; this included the development of lecture slides, exam questions, and in-class activities.

Greater Research Opportunities Fellowship Program

The GRO Fellowship program is an undergraduate research program that provides funding opportunities for undergraduates during their final two years of their first Bachelor's degree.
