Provide frontline/backline/beta/onsite support for Kasenna's Internet video server products via phone and email. This software provides content management, content distribution, streaming and commerce functions in a single integrated platform. Help customers solve technical issues and problems with Kasenna's products running on Redhat 6.1/7.1,8.0, SGI IRIX 6.5.x and Sun Solaris 2.7/2.8. * Provide onsite installation and intergration of the video server into the customers network and/or cable headend.* Delivered Technical Training classes to customers and partners and other support engineers.* Provide onsite support for escalations.* Provide software support via phone and email to end customers, frontline engineers, escalation engineers and business partners.* Help customers solve issues and problems with Kasenna's Internet video streaming products. This includes problems with UNIX server configurations (Linux, Irix, Solaris), Apache, DNS, RTSP, TCP/IP configurations and routing problems, as well as PC client configuration issues. Problem analysis involves reviewing application behavior, product log files, system logs, network traces and system configurations.* Provide developer support for API/SDK to Kasenna's developer partners.* Tested and Delivered patches and/or workarounds to customers.* Act as a customer voice for support issues.* Tracked trouble tickets through to closure.* Review training materials and customer documentation.* Recreate, analyze, verify and isolate customer problems for the engineering team.* Assist in the testing of software releases and patches.* Write Technical notes and FAQs for our support WEB page.Built the images that became Kasenna's Video Server appliances. This applicance was a pre-configured with RedHat 8 and Kasenna's video server software. I created the scripts so that the customer could easily setup and install the server. I created the the process for recovering the system in the event of a major failure.
