Role requires proactive working relationships with all disciplines involved in the construction of the liquefaction process area(ISBL) on daily construction, safety, and scheduling activates. Role requires monitoring, coordinating and review of contractor’s activities on vessels, piping systems, frame 7 GE refrigerant compressors systems, Dresser Rand fuel/flash gas compressors, electrical systems, communications and control systems, valves, expanders, and equipment to maintain efficient, acceptable and safe work activates. Overall responsible for the clients interest for the commissioning and completions of the Liquefaction (ISBL) area. All static equipment, rotating equipment and piping systems pre-commissioning and commissioning were included in the management and overview responsibilities.

Responsible for monitoring, coordinating and review of contractor’s activities on vessels, piping systems, valves and equipment to maintain efficient, acceptable and safe work activates. Liaison between owner engineers to ensure construction complies with drawings, specifications, codes and commissioning requirements. Understand and implement scheduling/planning as per the project schedule. Offer leadership to the project on QA/QC issues from prior LNG projects and provide guidance with regard to fabrication of liquefaction piping in cryogenic/compressor systems. As well as consulate and monitor fabrication of stainless steel piping utilizing RMD, Pulse, flux cored and automated processes. Project green field and brownfield scope consists of converting the existing LNG import terminal to a bi-directional import/export facility and the installation of liquefaction process from Air Products.

Novorossiysk

Responsible for the following scope at CPC’s Marine Terminal Tank Farm at Novorossiysk, Russian Federation, on the Black Sea: Installation and pre-commissioning of all equipment and piping including fire pumps, diesel generators, and fire suppression foam generating units. Responsible for Interconnecting underground pipelines to tank pads followed by crude oil interconnecting underground pipelines, as well as third pig launcher.Utility and all other piping also included as responsibility. Piping includes pipeline tie-ins at shore Facility and tank farm to process, firewater, oily water and sewer water drains. Responsible for hydro test package review, as built documentation review, and turn over documentation related to piping and mechanical works include project QVD as per ITP'S and Russian requirements.

During off rotations from over seas project, responsible for ensuring Project Quality Management System activities are implemented and monitor the performance of the Contractor and Subcontractors in achieving the Project Quality Requirements.Coordinate the Quality Control Activities. Inform the Project Quality Manager of the need to revise existing or develop new Management System Documents (Plans, Procedures and Work Instructions). Follow-up and tracking of the Correctives Action Requests (CARs) and Non Conformance Reports (NCRs). Arrange and manage Package QC Activities at Contractor's supplier sites, overseeing Execution Contractor's QA and QC activity and performing direct interventions where received.

Soyo, Angola

Responsible for monitoring, and inspection of all welding, piping, tank work and fabrication activities on site in accordance with engineering requirements, site quality procedures, and safety requirements. Verify the approved quality control records are maintained by contractor / sub contractors in accordance with the relevant ITP and project specifications. Inspection and monitor fabrication and erection of LNG low temperature storage tanks ( 9% Nickel ) and assorted sizes / diameter of pump columns & piping fabrication. Ensure the requirement of site quality procedures and relevant international codes are implemented and adhered to during the course of the project. Witness NDE testing as per hold points and project monitoring requirements as well as ensure NDE methods, and inspection methods are acceptable per criteria and referenced codes. Review package and add to punch list prior to testing and witnessing hydro tests, pneumatic tests. Review contractor radiography and other non destructive examinations. Review and verify MTR’s as well as monitor for damaged prior to fabrication & erection. Review of PQR, WPS, QVD's and witness welder qualification test and mechanical testing. Review all necessary documents and quality control records for adequacy and verify results in preparation for commissioning and turnover.

Malongo, Angola

Responsible for all construction quality control activities in a technical or administrative capacity, on “Papa, ALP, LIMA and AC” gas platform, including structural, piping, skid installation, welding and all other related activities. Monitor all daily construction activated and assure contractor is compliant at all times to quality standards with in multiple disciplines. Responsible for the performance of on-site tasks related to quality control compliance and construction performed by multiple contractors. Ensures contractors inspection duties and personnel are in accord with quality programs and are performed up to project standard and code. Responsible for documentation of inspection activities, work performed, and maintenance of quality control records.

Tengiz, Kazakhstan And Us Based

Responsible for the Coordination and inspection actives in accordance to site ITP’s and QVD’s in the crude and gas areas of construction. Liaison with Tengiz Chevroil inspection groups on orifice installations, RTJ installations, hydro/pressure tests, line reinstatements and other client verification/hold points with in project requiring PFD/TCO QC inspection. Inspect valves, flanges, welding and piping for acceptance criteria’s in site specifications/procedures and ISO/P&ID. Work with commissioning, and construction departments to expedite QVD documents required for turnover and custody transfer, as well as proactively resolve issues associated with punch list items on piping systems prior to turn over. Review of ITP’s, Procedures and QVD’s. Supervise inspection of welding/piping on all systems associated with crude/gas area of construction.

Huntington Ut/Farmington Nm

Coordinate all inspection activities on site pre-outage and during with project superintendents on quality surveillance, and inspection issues. Ensure establishment and proper implementation of adequate control procedures within the site inspection activities, as stipulated in the Project Quality Plan and the applicable inspection and test plans. Map WPS’s to entire Boiler tube replacements, as well as weld mapping. Review and, development of all Q.C. site reports and close-out reports, including all Q.C. reports to Client.(PQR’s, WPS’s WQR’s, MTR logs, Traveler, ITP’s Heat treatments, Data plaque, NDE logs, Pressure tests, and Panel P4’s) Q.C. over third party LPA-UT inspection and company Q.C. personnel. Perform quality surveillance during welding procedures and welder qualifications as well as over an average of 5280, tube welds to complete over-hauls of coal fired hi presser boilers, ranging in materials from carbon’s, chromium’s, inconel’s, and stainless alloy’s.
