My commitments to civic innovation & youth education have received recognition from the LA Mayor’s Office, the CA State Assembly, & U.S. Congress. Most recently, I was recognized as a Forbes 30 under 30 Honoree in Education.Community-building is at the core of everything I do and it started with my work as cofounder of Bruin Entrepreneurs. After graduating UCLA, I built one of the leading coworking space companies in LA (CTRL Collective) and launched the premier sports league for startups (Startup Sports) with 100+ members including Facebook, Tinder, & Snap...all for the same reason: I love to bring people together!These days, most of my time is spent building the community at Hacker Fund. During my time as Executive Director, we have become the premier nonprofit network of S.T.E.A.M. mentors in the U.S. with 150+ participating companies (ie. Apple, Google, & Microsoft) serving 50,000+ students. We built the first-ever Compton Innovation Center and have become the leading technology fiscal sponsor in the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors.I’m studying law as an apprentice in the Law Office Study Program through the CA State Bar. In order to address the lack of resources available for apprentices, I built the Law Office Study Center. We make legal education more accessible for underserved communities, enabling students to circumvent traditional law school & the crippling debt that comes with it.Fun fact: I ❤️ teaching mixed martial arts!🥋
