As a test engineer/technical leader in the solutions design team, I was responsible for working with the architecture team to develop multi-datacenter design solutions based on business requirements of multiple customers. Once the design was complete, I was responsible for leading a team to implement the design. These designs included, but was not limited to Nexus 7k/5k/2k, vPC, OTV, Nexus 7000 M/F/supervisor card considerations, Catalyst 6500 addition and migration, multi-tenant considerations, STP, ACL/FW security, storage, outage mitigation, software upgrade procedures, routing for datacenter and routing to external entities and network monitoring. Once the design was complete, I worked with a team of engineers to implement this design in the lab. Once implemented, I helped test and troubleshoot the operational feasibility of the design. For troubleshooting, I was responsible for filing bugs and working with developers to verify fixes in the software. This position also included documenting the design and results of testing for the field and external customers.
