Responsible for budgeting, revenue (top and bottom line margins), capability and capacity building.  Established Program Management Office (PMO) to support matrix type functioning. Supervised Program Managers coordinating deliveries.  Actively involved in Quality initiatives like ISO-9001 recertification and certification processes for AS-9100, ISO-27001 and CMMI. Strengthened and formulated various metrics for measuring, analyzing and improving performance. Monitoring and controlling of overruns in cost, effort and delivery schedules etc are part of the job requirement.  Initiated Six Sigma projects for continual improvement. Formed and coordinated service-wise Engineering Process Groups (EPG) to ensure continual improvement of processes. Improved billable hours index from 60% to 75% by introducing productivity improvement measures. Additionally, appointed as Disaster Recovery cum Crisis Management Leader for handling unforeseen disasters and crises by immediate, follow-up and sustenance actions to minimize losses. In this role, act as Business Continuity Manager (BCM) to ensure facility business is functional in the shortest possible timeframe

 Coordinated activities pertaining to design, development, integration and testing of aircraft and airborne systems. Responsible for operations management of flight test activities. Instrumental in the indigenous development and testing of the Intermediate Jet Trainer aircraft. Worked as design coordinator cutting across all the design groups in functions like CAD, FEA, CFD, Stress Check/Verification, Reliability Engineering and Technical Documentation Avionics upgrade program of Jaguar strike aircraft.  System modifications, testing and clearance for Kiran & HPT-32 aircraft.  Coordination with aircraft manufacturing and overhaul Divisions and various aircraft accessories shops Production flight testing of Jaguar, Mirage and Kiran aircraft.
