My career is built on a love of communications, technology, and problem-solving – whether leading sales, marketing, or the Data Analytics Business Unit at Qlik. I'm passionate about using my analytical mind to help companies uncover patterns in their data, driving real-world results, especially for those with a philanthropic or human impact.As a GM at Qlik, I lead the strategy and direction of our analytics products, overseeing product engineering, R&D, marketing, and the management teams. AI has the power to change how businesses use analytics, ensuring data-driven decisions and real impact. Artificial intelligence can democratize this process, giving access to data that all levels of a business can understand.My love for technology began early, and I was fortunate that the CIO of PTC took a chance on me at the start of my career. Since then, my roles have spanned IBM, Cognos, Bullhorn, and more. Now it’s my turn to take a chance on others and see them succeed. I’m a natural coach and love to watch people grow, seeing how happy it makes them. A strong believer in delegation and stewardship, I think you can only learn by making mistakes.Being an effective leader means communicating in various languages – whether adjusting tone and approach to different audiences, interpreting body language, or even speaking the local dialect. Fluent in German and French (alongside some Italian and Spanish), I’m fascinated by languages and enjoy reading Austrian literature in my spare time. Having lived and worked in France for four years, I love experiencing new cultures and recently travelled with my family to Italy and Singapore.Outside of work, as well as travelling, I watch ice hockey with my daughter.
