Technical ArchitectTraffic Smart Ltd Jul 2006 - Oct 2012Developed a competitive search intelligence application, providing reports and information on a client’s search performance to benchmark against competitors. The reports provided information on client competitors, who they are, what their keywords are, how much traffic they were receiving, how much they spent on PPC, how they ranked in both SEO and PPC and how this changed over time. Other reports monitored the client’s brands and allowed them to monitor their affiliates. Reports were provided as online views or as downloadable reports.Managed the project from inception, initially looking at feasibility and obtaining “buy in” from the board of directors and investors. I worked alongside a SQL Developer to produce an alpha version of the application. Demonstrated this to various potential clients to gauge market appetite. I lead a team of developers working to move the application to a beta version with a number of clients and ultimately to release. -
