Advanced Support Technician
CurrentWork alongside the Customer Success Managers and Sales Representatives to provide customer support for software issues and technical issue resolution. Technical Designer/Marketing
My primary responsibilities in this job role were as a technical designer, I bridged the gap between creative designers and game developers (programmers). In addition to leading and mentoring junior tech designers, my responsibilities included creating and animating game visuals such as symbols, characters, backgrounds, visual effects, and typography and implementing them into the game by writing game configuration code. I was also responsible for creating and optimizing sprite sheets for efficiency and quick load times. In addition, I localized game strings for over 30 languages. My additional role as a Creative Marketing Designer was to facilitate proper asset alignment into markets by closely collaborating with overseas partners such as China, Japan, and UK. In this role, I managed multiple servers and databases, designed specs for new computers that we used in-house and supported my IT director with networking issues. Moreover, I had effectively controlled company servers used in production process by maintaining servers up to date with latest patches on a regular basis. I held responsibility for streamlining workflows by automating certain internal workflow approaches and providing feedback to higher-ups.Some of my prominent achievements for this role are mentioned below:• Worked on IT systems and databases and managed company servers utilized in our production process, by routinely keeping servers up to date with latest patches, automating certain internal approaches to out workflows and providing feedback to higher ups on how to improve our workflows• Worked closely with Director of IT on the best approach to share assets between 3 different studios across the country• Worked with overseas clients such as China/Japan/UK • Marketing and technical related Assets for 40+ products shipped into the market by using proprietary and Adobe products to deliver high quality assets for each game and assets for Conventions and Award shows
