After my departure from William Lyon Homes in early 2020, post the sale to Taylor Morrison, by mid-July 2020 I began to get calls from CEO’s and Boards that I have known and or worked with through my career who were experiencing significant challenges. They inquired if I would consult with them on numerous operating issues from launching JV’s, channel analysis, executive search / acquisition, talent assessment & compensation design, fulfillment challenges, revenue optimization, outsourcing, pro forma development for new channels, M&A & monetization efforts, to name a few topics. My consulting practice was once again launched under the entity, DCMG LLC, which did not adequately convey what my partners and I were doing for companies. We have seen exceptional demand and have been engaged by select companies from Top 5 public companies to large independents, mid-sized companies, smaller IMB’s, fintech’s, real estate companies, builders, banks, and private equity companies.In October 2021 I renamed the entity Mortgage Advisory Partners LLC and added great talents in the areas of FP&A, Project Management and two operating COO’s who have built and run some of the largest scaled operations from Retail, JV’s and TPO. DCMG is a private capital management firm investing in small to medium sized companies in industries including mortgage finance, mobile technologies, and distressed assets.

Brian had full operational responsibility and strategic direction of Stearns Lending a widely recognized leader in the industry. Stearns is one of the countries largest and fastest growing independent full service mortgage banking companies, founded 28 years ago. During Brian's tenure at Stearns he successfully recruited an outstanding leadership team which allowed the company to enjoy a 5X growth, successfully issued a publicly traded $250 million bond offering to fund the growth of the organization, upgraded every operating system in the company successfully, on time and on budget, and successfully diversified its production channels while growing its servicing portfolio 25 -fold. Brian also lead the successful sale of a majority interest in the company to a Blackstone private equity fund in December of 2015.

Brian has left MetLife Bank / MetLife Home Loans effective March 31, 2012. This came as a result of MetLife's decision to exit the banking and mortgage lending business as publicly announced. During his tenure, Brian was responsible for all areas of Production including Retail, Wholesale, Correspondent, Warehousing, Consumer Direct, Reverse, Deposit Generation, and Production support areas such as Marketing and Sales Support.

Direct business oversight of all Prime consumer lending through he Consumer markets Division of Countrywide Home Loans. Oversaw 17,000 employees and 1,200+ locations.

Ran all production channels for the Consumer Markets Division of Countrywide Home Loans. Based in Plano, TX. Oversaw complete P&L responsibility for Distributed Retail, B-2-C Call Centers, Strategic Business Alliances and all fulfillment and support functions.

Oversaw the growth of the Distributed Retail Production branch network nationally.

Regional VP, based in Denver, CO, (started as Norwest Mortgage), lead mortgage banking efforts in Colorado, AZ, WY, MT, and Hawaii.

Regional VP for numerous states through out the US including the East coast, Midwest, and Western US. Operated from New Hampshire, corporate HQ in Milwaukee, WI, and Denver, CO.
