From January-December, 2019, assisted the Primary Investigator on a mixed-methods study funded by Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and the Center for Public Broadcasting (CPB). Responsibilities include writing, field work, qualitative and quantitative analysis, instrument design, and the management of all technology components.During the Fall of 2018, provided qualitative analysis and writing support to the Primary Investigator on a large research project funded by ETS, NAEP, and SAIL.

Support professors in the instruction of doctoral-level courses. Create and lead workshops in APA style, digital note taking, and synthetic writing for doctoral students. Designed online course content for the Education Master’s and Doctoral programs.

Chestnut Hill, Ma

Lead face-to-face and online workshops for K-20 classrooms with a focus on innovation with technology as well as pedagogical concepts such as Design Thinking, Project Based Learning, and Universal Design for Learning.Served as Communications Coordinator. In that capacity organized all inbound and outbound marketing communications for the company including newsletters, web site content, blog posts, webinars, and social media.

Taught grades 2-8. Coordinated and conducted all faculty professional development related to technology integration. Managed the Student Information System (PowerSchool). Served as Web Master. Collaborated with the administration and board regarding strategic planning for the school.

In collaboration with Mike Boardman of Boardman Design (http://boardmandesign.com) and Brad Read of Sail Newport (http://sailnewport.org), created the Learning at the Extreme website to allow teachers and students to follow the excitement of the Volvo Ocean Race (http://volvooceanrace.org) in the classroom. On this project, created all curriculum, wrote all content, and currently maintain the website.

Collaborated with the faculty to improve their integration and use of technology in the classroom.

Lead researcher in the Innovation Lab at the Naval War College. Worked with the Strategic Studies Group to identify educational and technology needs for the year 2030.
