I am an experienced Education Assistant with a history of working in the primary/secondary education industry. I am skilled at helping students with Anti-social Behaviours, Customer Service, Microsoft Word, Strategic Planning, and Communication. I am building a strong education profession with a focus in Sociology and Teachable courses through the University of the Fraser Valley. I plan on continuing my education in Teacher Education and Professional Development, Specific Levels and Methods from Simon Fraser University in the fall of 2019.I believe education is where everyone learns uniquely and can find an environment that stimulates their mind best. I want to create an atmosphere where students can find their learning style and meet their real potential. I want my students to express themselves as they are and to accept one another for who they are. Some of my career goals include continuing my education after my PLP at SFU and completing a certificate in Special Education to be a Resource Teacher. Another goal is to gain experience in a variety of elementary and middle school grades to gain more knowledge and confidence.
