With a background in SQL, Microsoft Excel, geology and customer service, my focus is analyzing and presenting data to describe current conditions.My journey into data analysis twists and turns similar to the roads in Laos. As a backpacker I kept a detailed log of my daily spending in a simple excel sheet. Upon my return I made a few pivot tables but I wanted more and inserted the data into a SQL Server database. BACKUP DATABASE SEATO DISK = 'FILEPATH';--backup databaseAfter the trip I obtained a Microsoft Technology Associate - Database Fundamentals credential and enrolled in a database administration certificate program to increase my knowledge of SQL and database administration.As an experienced project manager,I use SQL to conduct ad hoc queries for government entities and compiled reports for emergency management resulting in reduced response time. Additionally, I research site conditions and current trends to predict future site activities. I know first hand, that quality data, reporting and effective communication with various stakeholders can affect project management.
